# Does SapphireIMS Support Custom based inventory and database inventory?

SapphireIMS supports various modes to collect custom inventory data and database inventory. Following are the ways through which we collect additional inventory with custom inventory.

File Trawl - Fetching details of the file on Windows and Unix operating systems with file types filters

Custom registry – Option to query Windows registry to fetch specific key value pair, it even has option to recursively query sub key values under specified registry path

Custom WMI items – Option to query specific attributes of interest using WMI classes for Windows

Database Inventory – Option to Query oracle and MSSQL related inventory information such as oracle homes, oracle components, etc.
