# Is zombie node will work for both agentless & agent discovery protocol?

**Agent nodes:** Until SAPP\_5001-7 patch level, agent zombie classification will happen only if performance is enabled. Starting from SAPP\_5001-8, agents will move to zombie node regardless of performance enablement.

**Agent-less nodes:** The zombie classification will work for agent-less nodes regardless of patch level.
