# What is the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) to execute MSU installer from SapphireIMS?

To execute MSU installer, we need to create Windows batch file to launch the MSU installer with help of wusa.exe. Refer [this article](https://community.sapphireims.com/t/script-for-installing-kb-articles-msu-files-through-sapphireims/650).
