# Whether SapphireIMS support application inventory on platform MS application virtualization ( App-V)

Yes, SapphreIMS supports version 4.6 and 5.0 of MS application virtualization (App-V) client for inventory collection. SapphireIMS supports this using WMI data collection mode for both agent and agent-less. It can configured for software compliance and software metering.

Point to note is as there is no underlying change in WMI on 5.x version of App-V, SapphireIMS should support this version as well.
