How does the IPMI feature works ? Please share the pre-requisites if any.
IPMI stands for “Intelligent Platform Management Interface”. This defines standardized specification for monitoring and managing computer irrespective of computer’s CPU and OS. SapphireIMS uses “ipmiutil.exe” to connect to remote host and collect the data. This to work in the remote machine one needs to configure “Enable IPMI Over LAN” option and IPMI user has to be either “OPERATOR” or “ADMINISTRATIVE” privilege.
