My inventory data shows 1000 copies of Microsoft office 2010 installed however, Microsoft record such as Microsoft License Statement (Microsoft Record) says 1000 license of Microsoft Office 2013 with software assurance scheme. Am I complaint?

As customer has Software assurance (SA), office 2010 licenses were upgraded to office 2013 the moment that product was released. But you will be still complaint though you are using office 2010 because of downgrade rights applicable with the office product and office 2013 license covers 2010 version deployments. Please note that generally downgrade rights will be applicable on product with same editions.

We suggest to verify with Microsoft on what are the down gradable versions as per current period of SA. As a tool we cannot automatically detect the downgrade rights, customer to check and configure downgrades under PUR section.
