If the node is not getting discovered, please following things
a. Check whether the new device is supported with any of the protocols like WMI, SNMP, SSH, WBEM, CLI, etc.
b. Check credential used is correct like right protocol used to discover for specific device, username/password, port, etc.
c. Check whether all pre-requisite required to discover the node is enabled
d. Check whether enough license is available to discover node. If license is not available, it may go into unlicensed node. Please check whether this specific node is listing under Settings → Node Operations → Unlicensed Devices. If it is listing here, you may have to get more license for this or unallocated license from other device and allocate to it. To know your current license limit, see Settings > Product License Usage page.
e. Check whether device is going to unmanaged node, it could be because pre-requisites or credential mismatch. Please check whether this specific node is listing under Settings → Node Operations → Unmanaged Devices. If it is listing here, please click on “Click here to diagnose” link and see any errors
f. Check whether it is updating existing node record because system serial number, OS Type and MAC ID is same
g. Check whether basic parameters required for qualification are getting collected such as System Serial Number, MAC ID, OS Type, etc.
