What are the prerequisites to monitor IBM Storewise devices in SapphireIMS?

SapphireIMS uses SSH connection to collect the IBM Storewise device data. Following are the prerequisites.

  • SapphireIMS uses SSH client to connect to the IBM Storewise .
  • The storage has to be directly reachable from SapphireIMS server (ping/SSH connect on well known port, default SSH port 22).
