Character Limitation in CMDB text box and text area field

Team,

Client has given below text for 1 of the CMDB field in Desktop Asset but getting bad records error , We have not used any special character but still getting bad records error.

Is ther any character limitation in text box and text area , if yes then how can we increased the same

Please check the database column where it is getting stored and see the column width.
