Customer has installed one software in a machine. But they want to see that information immediately in SapphireIMS without waiting for next scheduled inventory. What needs to be done for this?

SapphireIMS provides on-demand inventory option to trigger the inventory collection immediately. This helps in scheduling inventory job immediately. This is supported for both agent and agentless devices. This can be triggered in following ways –
a. Go to Menu inventory->Summary-> Click on specific node summary view-> Actions → Get Inventory Data
b. Go to Settings-> Asset and Inventory Management-> Node Operation → Select Scope as Get Inventory Data-> Select nodes → Click on Get Data. Please note that in this case you can post jobs of multiple nodes in bulk.

After posting job, you can check the status of inventory by going to Menu IT Automation->Automation Task Status-> Select Task Category as System Data Collection.
