How do I reset password using SapphireIMS self service module?

SapphireIMS supports password reset self service feature using secret pin and security question or OTP with E-mail or SMS. Please refer our online help link on how to configure and use it -

If secret pin and security question based password reset is needed, we need to enable following setting key for this feature to work

  • Below patch level 5006, ‘Enable Single Sign On’ option under Settings->Security Settings->Security Details.
  • On or above patch level 5006, above setting key is renamed to ‘Enable AD Authentication’ which needs to be set under Settings->Security Settings->Security Details.

If OTP based password reset is needed, we need to follow below steps -

  • Disable Security pin, question and captcha from Security Settings page
  • Enable forgot password and Unlock account from Security Settings Page
  • Enable TFA for Forgot password and Unlock account from TFA configuration page
