I have procured new software or operating system license which is not yet rolled out in any of the machine. However, I want it to create a license record for the same. How can I do that?

SapphireIMS provides means to onboard software as part of license record before it is collected through inventory. The custom software name should be same as the name which will appear in “Add or Remove Programs/Programs and Features”. Please refer Software Normalization and click on Custom Software section to configure.

Note: Custom software cannot be deleted in one of the following cases:
a. Tagged to inventory system(s)
b. Used in Compliance
c. Used in Suite Rules
d. Used in Bundle Component
e. Tagged to Executable
f. Tagged to SWID Tags
