What are the points which needs to checked if the IT compliance data is not reflecting in the compliance page?

I have created the baseline rule, based on that rule i have configured the compliance. However compliance data is not reflecting in the compliance page. What are the points which needs to checked if the IT compliance data is not reflecting in the compliance page?

To check Compliance Baseline Rule result:

  1. Go to Inventory > Discovery page and expand the advance search and choose the created baseline compliance rule and search. If this is not giving any result, then something might be wrong with the configuration or no systems matching the mentioned criteria.
  2. Go to Inventory > Resource page and try adding the parameters that are defined in baseline rule one by one to understand which exact part of the rule is not satisfying the rule.

To check IT Compliance result:

  1. The parameters defined in baseline compliance rule is just a static entity and it wont be considered automatically for IT compliance. In order to configure IT compliance visit “Settings > Compliance > IT Policy Compliance Rules”, add a rule by choosing configured baseline rule and choose the systems which needs to be reconciled. If you want to reconcile against all nodes, select Criteria as “All”

  2. By default IT policy compliance rules gets executed against nodes which are mapped to assets. If discovered nodes are not mapped to any asset, then those will not be considered in reconciliation. To override this setting, visit Settings > Compliance > Compliance Settings and choose “Host” instead of “Asset” under IT Compliance Settings section.

  3. By default, Inventory > IT compliance page loads result for top level OU (eg: Preshipped OU). If nodes are not available under top level OU and if it is available under child OU, then IT compliance result page might appear blank. If you want to show the result by considering child OU’s then enable “Consider sub-business unit(s)” checkbox under Settings > Compliance > Compliance Settings page.
